Getting started

What exactly do you host?

We host CRCON — the admin panel used to manage a Hell Let Loose (or HLL Vietnam) server. We can't host a game server itself for you, this is restricted by T17 and you will have to rent one from a game server provider like Quonzer.

What's RCON, and how is it different from CRCON?

RCON is the protocol that a Hell Let Loose game server provides to allow you to monitor and administer your game server remotely without having to join the server as a player.

CRCON is a free and open source community provided tool that you can self host, we offer it as a paid service.

Where do I find my RCON host, port, and password?

This varies by game server provider, Quonzer provides it on the main configuration page for your game server.

What happens after I sign up and pay?

When automatic signups are enabled (they may be temporarily disabled if we need to rent more server space) you will create an organization that you can invite other people to, enter your game server credentials (IP, RCON port and RCON password), choose your URLs and it will be set up automatically in a few minutes.

Plans & billing

What's the difference between the Public and Event pricing?

A public game server is one that is not password protected and open to the public. An event server is password protected and used for training, hosting matches, etc.

We can offer event servers at a reduced rate because they consume fewer resources.

Please note that you cannot have an event priced server unless you have at least one public game server.

Can I add or remove servers later?

You can add or remove extra game servers anytime you would like, please note that we bill monthly.

What happens if I cancel my Public-tier server but still have an Event-tier one?

You will have to upgrade the event server to a standard priced public game server subscription.

Do you charge if my server is offline?

Yes, we have to rent physical servers to host your CRCON instance on and we are billed even if you aren't using your service.

Managing your server

My RCON details changed — how do I update them?

You can update your RCON credentials at any time without waiting for us by clicking the Update Credentials link on the management page for your game server on this site.

What if CRCON itself is down, not my game server?

Open a support request to contact us. Please check and provide your game server credentials (IP, RCON port and RCON password) because they may have changed and it will help us help yo ufaster.
